ok, what happen in my place lately?
its the N12 penanti by election and it there's only 1 political party involve plus other three independents.
hmm, if you read mainstream media there's a tough battle out there in penanti, but if you are there yourself...
its deceiving... the atmosphere in penanti is one sided and the colour is light blue..
well, dont wanna talk more about politics here..
but personally, i treat ceramahs like gigs haha
here are some of the points of similarities..

the bands exposed you to what they have in terms of new songs or stage performance

the parties exposed you what they have in terms of policies and manifestoes

the bands explained to you their musical directions and try to get fans
ceramahs
the parties explained to you their stands and try to get your votes

there will be kiosks selling band merchandise, shirts, patches and zines
ceramahs
there will be kiosks selling political merchandise, shirts, stickers and opposition newspapers

goers having fun listening to music and songs
ceramahs
goers having fun listening to jokes and issues

get raid by police if not permitted
