bungin's ramadhan delights

there were some interesting things taken place in bungin during ramadhan..
maybe ordinary for the locals.. but for me..
still interesting..



bersungkei - aka berbukak posa
peringkat skolah..
all the teachers brought their home cook meals
such as bubur pedas, sapi masak itam, tong yam, ayam percik..
we the bujang senang brought our own either huhu



this is it - ayam pansuh
not lemang, leave alone meriam buluh..
pansuh is iban style of cooking using bamboo..
simple but need special attention



ikan bakaq - a few weeks back
we had ikan kembong n tenggiri bakaq..
sedap la jugak..



we go heart hunting - amik jantung pisang
from abg follend's orchard..
ucop dengan gaya pahlawan rentap..



buah apong - in northern malaya they called it buah nau
my first time and failed to find the right one..
thank god we had fizul a local boy to help us..
that night, we had a jug of buah apong..



farewell - to two KPLIs
sazli and sulaiman with mbiak year 6..
they were like superstars of the last day b4 raya at sk bungin



big batu book - KPLI's project
here sulaiman posed next to the finished big batu book
he was like the de facto leader of the project
i also gave some helpful hands
particularly in the logo
and the idea of using jawi
and the idea of writing sejak 1947.. huhu



jadual masak guru bujang - by khairul
this table lasted for o nly a week
after some parang quarrel.. then
things turned ugly..
huhu last skali smua masak skali
pandai2 la kalo nak tolong..
kalo xmau tolong xpa..



bertuntung - in malaya they called just pasang pelita
for the 7 likur, there was a competition held at kampung hilir
the locals created various shapes of the pelita..
nice and we even lit our own in front of the house..

till then... i'm coming home for aidilfitri... huhu
nice and reminded

haha my design (in red circle) has been used in goal.com logo design article..
i've sent a few designs and this one managed to get in the article..
i am happy enough and if i dont win any, thats okay mate..
hmm anyway, it doesnt look that nice.. but goal.com used it in their article.. haha
